A Message from Our Secretary

When we began this work in 2009, our starting point was simple: go to the villages, listen, and help people organize around what they already knew they needed. That instinct — community first — is still how we operate today.

Over the years, that grassroots presence in Hazaribagh, Chatra, and Giridih has grown into programmes spanning education, livelihoods, health, and rights awareness. None of it would have been possible without the trust of the families we work alongside, and the partners — from NABARD and SIDBI to Goonj and our fellow civil society networks — who have stood with us.

There is still a great deal of work ahead. I invite you to look through what we do, and to be part of it — as a volunteer, a partner, or a supporter.
